Currently working on
- Polishing this site. Going through every tool, article,
testimonial, and subscription path so a first-time visitor lands
on a complete picture. Stripe / Creem / Cal.com are wired up —
what’s left is detail.
- Shipping a new tool: App Receipt. Tracks macOS app usage and
rolls it into thermal-receipt-style HTML/PNG reports. CLI + Web
UI + LaunchAgent daemon; open-sourced on GitHub.
- laowe-analytics is live. Single dashboard for traffic across
laowe.club / shop.laowe.club / freeapp.laowe.club. Internal —
not exposed to the public.
- Writing about indie development. Notes from building the
products, slowly turned into posts. Email is the lowest-friction
way to follow along.
Recently shipped
- Consolidated everything I make (products, consulting, proof,
tools, articles, email list) onto laowe.club
- Bilingual (zh / en) + dark mode for the storefront
- WeChat Pay + Alipay via Creem (merchant of record)
- Stripe checkout as the international fallback path
- 11 web tools + 4 CLI tools on the tools page (carousel,
markdown-to-PNG, word counter, restricted-words check, etc.)
- Carousel generator: 8 background presets + real PNG thumbnails +
watermark + aspect ratio picker
Up next
- Longer, slower notes on this site — not just product updates
- A couple of new digital products, mostly tools for indie devs
- “10 things to know before you ship a paid product” — still
undecided if it ends up as a post or as a product
- Wire the email subscription to Resend (domain + API key)
